DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Wright State Raiders scored the first basket against the Tennessee Volunteers in the opening round of the NCAA tournament game but several turnovers cost them the game.
The game started at 12:40 p.m. Thursday.
Both teams answered points back and forth and then the Vols found their rhythm and took hold of the lead.
As the players left the court at the half, the score showed the Vols winning 34 to 23.
In the second half, the Vols took the lead and ran with it causing the Raiders to make several turnovers.
The final score of the game was 73 to 47.
A lawsuit filed by applicants who were denied a license is progressing ahead of the September 8th start date for the program.Read More »
