SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) - An investigation into alleged hazing during a boy's basketball camp continues as players prepare for the season.
The Findlay Police Department has given over its investigation to the Hancock County Prosecutor.
The investigation began at the end of June after the Fairlawn High School boy's basketball team attended a camp at the University of Findlay at the end of June.
Findlay police said they were looking into possible hazing by upperclassmen. A statement said one of the boy's attending camp was held down by several others while a bottle was thrown below his waist.
Superintendent Steve Mascho, with Fairlawn Schools, said several students were already disciplined for their part in the incident.
The coaches who attended the trip have not been disciplined, according to Mascho, because they are awaiting the results of the investigation.
