MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - AAA hosted free vehicle inspection to help Miami Valley residents get ready for winter driving season on Tuesday.
Automotive professionals were on hand at Poelking Lanes behind the Dayton Mall in Miami Township between 10-2 p.m. They were doing a 40-point inspection free of charge, including checking fluids, tires, and the maintenance drivers sometimes neglect or forget about during the summer months.
"Its never too early to start. Here in the next month or so we'll be into the winter driving season, and we don't want to see people stranded out on the side of the roads," said automotive professional Josh Marks.
Child passenger safety seat inspections were also offered on Tuesday.
Another free inspection check will take place on Thursday at the K-Mart in Eaton. It is also free and open to anyone from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
