DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- The coroner identified the victim from a shooting in Dayton Monday night.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 21-year-old Jesse Samuel Redavide of Dayton and the coroner will perform an autopsy Tuesday.
Dayton Police have identified a suspect in a deadly shooting on S. Horton Street.
The suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Lance Irvin. Police say Irvin is believed to be driving a dark-colored Dodge Durango. He's also believed to have a semi-automatic handgun.
Officers responded to a 911 call in the 100 block of S. Horton St., near E. 4th St., just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
The caller said a man had been shot in the chest.
When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old white man with a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police believe the man was shot in the doorway of the house after an argument.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate. Police say witnesses who were at the house when the shooting happened are cooperating with the investigation.
The suspect, identified as Lance Irvin, is not in custody.
