DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A relationship gone bad is what police say is to blame for a stabbing Monday evening.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of West Riverview Avenue. Police say a 24-year old woman admitted to cutting her 34-year old boyfriend in the hand during an argument.
She was arrested on a felonious assault charge. He was treated and released for his injury.
Witnesses say the two have been having problems recently. They have three children who were not at home at the time of the stabbing.
The children will stay with other family members pending a resolution to the case.
The University of Dayton will graduate its Fall 2013 class on Dec. 14.

Police will be meeting with prosecutors in the "near future" to determine what charges a person of interest will face in connection with Tuesday's shooting in West Carrollton, officials there announced.
