COLUMBIA, SC (WDTN) - A new study is suggesting that coffee and tea have a powerful bacteria fighter.
The study out of the University of South Carolina says the beverages can lower the risk of getting infected with the MRSA bacteria.
The study looked at beverage habits of a large sample of adults.
It found those who drank coffee or tea were less likely to have signs of MRSA in their nasal passages.
