ENON, Ohio (WDTN) - The former treasurer for the Village of Enon admitted to stealing from her employer.
Debra Maurer pleaded guilty Monday to theft in office and tampering with evidence.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office said Maurer stole more than $39,000 from the village between 2008 and 2012.
Each charge carries a three year prison term. Maurer is scheduled to be sentenced June 24.
She also agreed to pay $54,000 in restitution.
