PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - The body of a Preble County officer killed overseas returned home Saturday night.
A flight carrying the remains of 42-year-old Kurt Muncy touched down at Cincinnati's airport just before 7 p.m.
Muncy was killed while working as a contractor for DynCorp international, which trained police in Afghanistan.
He was killed in an attack on his compound near Kabul Tuesday.
Funeral plans for Muncy are not yet scheduled.
This year, they will help 13 families in need buy toys, clothing and other items.
