DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - All of this nice weather has many of us wanting to get outside, but for those with allergies, it's a troublesome time of year too.
The Regional Air Pollution Control Agency says mold levels are high and weed levels aren't far behind.
The worst may still be to come.
Ragweed is already at moderate levels even though the season is just getting underway.
"Maybe here in Ohio, people started august 8th. Patients already since Monday say the ragweed is here and indeed its here. It was moderate and today it's classified as high," said Dr. Arturo Bonnin, Allergy and Asthma Center of Dayton.
The doctor tells us that ragweed season usually ends in mid-September, but as recently as 2007, it stretched into late October.
