DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton singing group made it through the first night of a new NBC singing competition show.
The Senior Sounds of Touch won three rounds during the show Thursday night and move another step closer to the million dollar prize.
They are are competing in the show The Winner Is hosted by Nick Lachey.
The tribute band sings songs of Motown groups like The Temptations and The Four Tops.
The show airs every Thursday on WDTN and NBC at 9:00 pm.
NBC says the concept is simple. Each episode consists of three rounds pitting two contestants against one another. The winner moves on to the next round, until the night's winner is chosen in round three.
