NEW YORK CITY (NBC/WNBC) - A lobster's sunny color saves it from becoming a dinner delicacy.

The rare yellow lobster caught the eye of Frank Marinello as he unpacked his shipment at his seafood store near New York City.

"We got our usual shipment of lobsters in," said Marinello. "While going through it, we discovered another yellow lobster."

This is his second yellow lobster find, where the odds of finding one are reportedly 1 in 30 million. The lucky Marinello said he thinks he's hit the jackpot.

"Twice in the last two years," he said. "I should pick lottery tickets, like I get yellow lobsters into the store."

If you're wondering, the lobster is not for sale.

Marinello is hoping to find it a permanent home at an aquarium.
