LOS ANGELES (CNN/KLTA) - The sight of a police chase in Los Angeles is nothing new in to us in the era of 24/7 cable news channels, but a chase Monday is anything but your run-of-the-mill police chase.
Police were in pursuit of a robbery suspect Monday with local TV cameras rolling when they caught the unimaginable on tape.
As the van appears to slow to a stop, a woman, with what appears to be a gun, approaches and jumps onto the side of the moving van!
Watch the video in the player above to see how she clings to the side and eventually climbs inside.
The woman's involvement in the incident is unclear.
The chase ended with the van stopping and the woman surrendering to police.
A K-9 was unleashed on the male driver.
He scrambled out of the van, only to have the dog latch onto his backside.
Police cuffed him and collected cash that spilled out onto the roadway.
