ALOHA, Ore. (CNN/KGW) - A high school football player in Oregon made history on his birthday.
Friday night, Thomas Tyner ran for more than 640 yards - a record in that state. He topped that off by scoring 10 touchdowns in the process. And he did all of this on his 18th birthday, and there was only one way he wanted to celebrate.
"All it means is I can't wait to go to sleep," said Tyner.
Tyner helped the Aloha Warriors beat Lakeridge 84 to 63.
When asked who should get all the credit for his big night, Tyner pointed to his teammates, specifically his offensive line.
