MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (CNN/WDPE) - Some people forget their cellphone charger in a hotel room. Others leave behind a python.
A maintenance worker was surprised to find a five-foot jungle carpet python lounging inside a motel room in Myrtle Beach.
It was hanging out on the windowsill.
The employee says the snake belonged to the room's last guest, who left it behind.
A local snake enthusiast adopted the snake and says he'll either keep it or find it a good home.
