SEATTLE (NBC/KING) - Three months after their birth, four lion cubs at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo made their public debut this weekend.
The cubs spent most of their first extended time outside exploring the enclosure and romping about.
The four South African lion cubs, two male and two female, are about 26 pounds each already. Fully grown, these lions will range from 260- to 400 pounds.
This was the first litter for mother Adia, but zoo officials report that she has had no difficulties with the cubs.
The zoo will host a naming contest for two of the new cubs. The other two will be given names by the zoo.
