Stiletto heel attack caught on camera

Police hope new video will lead to arrests

DAYTON (WDTN) - Dayton Police detectives have a new piece of evidence in the unsolved stiletto shoe attack of a Dayton man.

An employee of the restaurant where the attack happened turned in a three-minute long I Phone video. At least four women are seen repeatedly attack the victim, 35 year-old Anthony Miliner, who was in the front seat of the tan SUV. The women punched, yelled, kicked, and spitted at Miliner.

Miliner's eye was also gouged with a high heel shoe. Family members told 2 NEWS that he's had several surgeries, but the attack caused permanent damage. Miliner could lose vision in the injured eye.

Dayton Police officials said the attack was not only brutal, but completely unwarranted.

Sergeant Gary White said the women turned on Miliner after he tried to be a good samaritan and help one of them who was being beaten in the car ahead of him in the drive thru line.

"The word stupid just has to be put out there, because this attack was stupid," said Sgt. White with the Dayton Police Department. "The citizens in Dayton deserve better protection. They deserve people to come forward and identify the women involved in the attack. This was a stupid incident".

With such damning evidence, officials said they hope the women will turn themselves in. If that's not the case, and you can help identify who they are call Crimestoppers at 222-7867.
