Marketing/Promotions Intern for Creative Services

This individual will be assisting the Marketing and Promotions team for the Creative Services Department at WDTN & Dayton’s CW – WBDT. This position will be an opportunity to learn about the television industry, while gaining experience in marketing a company through television, outside events and other means. Some of the main duties the intern will experience are:

• Write Press Releases and creating press kits for local radio stations
• Help organize and prepare for events
• Assist production team when getting footage for promotional use
• Assist with station contests or events WDTN & Dayton’s CW hosts during internship
• Brainstorm and create ideas to help market WDTN & Dayton’s CW

Production Intern for Creative Services

This individual will help the promotions team write & produce on-air promos that focus on our programming and station contests. The intern would be working with Final Cut Pro non-linear edit system. Other duties would be to help out with any promotional events that take place. This intern would learn how each department works together at a local TV station level. Keep in mind that this local TV station does not have any News programs.
