(AP) - Ohio has released its first employment report on highway jobs funded by President Barack Obama's stimulus plan:

-- The economic stimulus package created or retained 1,138 highway construction jobs in July, with workers clocking in about 42,000 hours in labor and payroll of about $1.5 million.

-- To date, Ohio has awarded about $372 million in stimulus money for 110 highway construction projects.

-- Elsewhere, Ohio hired about 300 teens young adults in a $2 million stimulus program to trim trees, clear trails and make other improvements to state parks.
