DAYTON (WDTN) - Three people were killed in a house fire Nov. 12, 2009 in the 2800 block of East First Street

Investigators said the victims are 28-year-old Kennetha l. Gay, four-year-old Mirissa Gay, and three-month-old Cameron Jordon Treadwell.

They said two other children escaped the burning home by jumping from a second story window. Both of those children were taken to Dayton Children's Medical Center to be treated for what officials described as "non-life threatening injuries".

Firefighters were called around 9:15 pm. They said when they arrived, the first floor of the home was engulfed in flames. Crews immediately called for back-up.

The home where the fatal fire happened is a duplex, and the other half is vacant.

Officials said it is too early to tell how or where the fire started inside the home. Damage was contained to the home.
