Fans fill theaters for "New Moon"

Cinema De Lux at The Greene had to add another showing of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, after 11 showings sold out.

Self-proclaimed "Twi-hards" packed into the theater hours before the 12:01 premiere.

Many donned t-shirts proclaiming, "Team Jacob" and "Team Edward", in reference to the films main characters.

Wearing her "Team Jacob" shirt, Emily Murphy explained the obsession.

"I think it's pretty huge." she said.  "This is the only series that I've been to at midnight. The book was huge. The actors are hot. What's not to love about it?" 

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is the second in the series and is based on vampires.

It's rated PG-13 and is described as a drama, love story.

Prior to it's release, New Moon was in the running to sell the most advance tickets, of any movie in history.
