HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - A man was arrested early Thursday morning after leading police on a pursuit around area Interstates.

Officers finally stopped the driver on Interstate 75 just south of the Needmore Road exit. Police say the man's front tires blew when he hit a barrier while getting off and then right back on the Interstate at Needmore.

Once he stopped the man surrendered without incident.

Englewood police first tried to stop the man for a traffic violation, but he sped off. Officers followed him on Interstate 70 and then to Interstate 75 at speeds of around 100 miles per hour.

Police think the man also drove away from officers during an earlier traffic stop. They say he had been drinking and was driving without a license.

He could face felony charges for fleeing and eluding.
