Reds Blog: Wheels down in Arizona

Less than 7 hours after doing my 11 o'clock sportscast on Friday night I was airborne headed to Goodyear, Arizona to cover Reds spring training!

I love the TSA people at Dayton International airport.  I've been flying a lot lately and everyone there always treats me so kind, plus they're channel 2 viewers who had very nice things to say about 2 News.  I'll see you when I get back, keep up the good work!

I'm excited to be in the southwest!  I couldn't sleep last night!   The weather out here is sunny in the upper 80s ... i heard things are not so warm back home, don't worry ill try and bring some sun back with me!

UPDATE:

Well I'm off to cover the boys of summer. It's 8 am on Sunday morning I'm in the reds clubhouse trying to score a few interviews.  Todd Frazier will sit down with me here soon.  The reds complex is huge and it is beautiful!  I haven't seen my first practice yet and already it feels like baseball
