Oppys awarded to HS football stars

BUTLER TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The 2012 Monster Operation Football Oppy Awards were announced Wednesday night.

The 2 SPORTS team watched the results with the families and players at the Frickers on Miller Lane in Butler Township.

And the winners are:

Offensive Player of the Year:  Denzell Norvell, Running back for Thurgood Marshall

Defensive Player of the Year:  Mitchell Larson, Line backer for Xenia

Coach of the Year:  Earl White of Thurgood Marshall

Game of the Year:  Beavercreek 27 vs Centerville 21

Comeback Team of the Year:  Springboro with a 10-0 record

Play of the Year:  Jesse Bray 99 yard kickoff return for Wayne
