Kevin Dillard scored 11 points and went 7-of-9 at the free throw line, while Luke Fabrizius added six points and a career-high nine rebounds.

Dayton trailed 53-48 with 55 seconds remaining in regulation. On their next possession, Dillard got fouled and hit two free throws to pull UD within three.
The Billikens hit one of two free throws on their next trip down the court, but the Flyers knocked the ball out of bounds giving Saint Louis another possession. Saint Louis hit only one free throw, but extended the lead to 55-50.
On the ensuing Flyer possession, Johnson missed a three pointer and the Flyers had the ball go out of bounds. During the dead ball period, a technical foul was called against the Flyers, allowing the Billikens to close the scoring with free throws.
The Flyers have not won at Saint Louis since Jan. 12, 2008 when the two teams played at the Scottrade Center.
Saint Louis, which possesses one of the Top 10 scoring defenses in the NCAA, limited Dayton to 25 percent shooting from the field. UD went 4-of-16 from three-point range, but won the rebounding battle 42-40.
In the first half, the Billikens used a 10-0 run to lead 23-13 midway through the session. Dayton closed the half on a 5-0 run and trailed 31-25.
