COLUMBUS, Oh -    Andre Yates'  runner with 5 seconds left powered top-ranked Dayton Dunbar to a dramatic 54-52 victory over Elida in the Division 2 state championship on Saturday .  The Wolverines finish with a perfect 28-0 record.

After Elida's  Reggie McAdams tied the game with a free throw with 11.8 seconds left, Dunbar's Damarion Geter rebounded his second shot and passed to Yates.

Andre Yates went the length of the court, banking a left-handed shot high off the glass for the game winner with four seconds remaining.

After a timeout Elida inbounded to Dakota Mathias, but his 45-foot shot at the buzzer was off the mark.

Dunbar now has five State championships in basketball.
