DAYTON, Ohio - A new ownership group, a new coach and now a new look for the Dayton Gems.
The CHL team will take the ice with a different appearance in season number two.
As a result of a fan poll which ended in a tie, the team has adopted both schemes.
The home jersey will be white with a circular logo, and the road uniform is black with a diagonal look.
The Gems conducted the fan poll on their website.
The season begins in October, and there is no word yet on whether the Mascot "Blade" has survived all the new changes.
