DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Thursday, September 27, 2012.

Join Senator Rob Portman and NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz for a "Road to Victory" concert at Champions Arena in Springfield. Country star Rodney Atkins will perform to help drum up support for the Romney-Ryan campaign.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Meantime supporters of President Obama will gather to open an Organizing for America- Ohio office in Eaton. The event is set for 7 p.m. on East Main Street.

Time Warner Cable wants to hire 30 new employees at its Dayton location. Open interviews will be held today from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Time Warner office on Turner Road. To apply for the positions, you must have mechanical skills, a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

The Preble County General Health District will hold its first flu clinic today at the Gathering Place in Eaton. Shots for adults are $25, kids are $14.

You can try mountain biking for free at Huffman MetroPark. Bikes and helmets will be provided.

Cold Stone Creamery is taking a sweet approach to fundraising. Today, $1 from the sale of any "love it" or "gotta have it" size ice cream, yogurt or sorbet will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
