Here are 5 Things You Need to Know for Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

The Miami County Deputy accused of operating while intoxicated is expected to make his first court appearance.  Piqua Police stopped Deputy Doug Byers on September 9.  Officers say he refused sobriety tests.  Officers say he smelled of alcohol, mumbled his speech and had glassy eyes.  We're told he was off-duty at the time.

Construction crews will start demolition of the former Piqua Memorial Hospital.  It's been vacant since 1996.  Demolition is expected to take four weeks.

It is College Prep Night at Fifth Third Field in downtown Dayton.  College representatives will be available between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to offer collegiate advice.

Dayton City Commissioners are expected to approve a $3.4 million deal to improve the Dayton International Airport.  The other issue commissioners will tackle is Coco's Bistro moving plans and whether the city will give owners some helpful cash.
