DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Monday, October 29, 2012.

Today marks World Stroke Day and according to the American Stroke Association, strokes are the second leading cause of death in the world.

Dayton parents will have another opportunity to learn about 3rd grade reading requirement changes. Tonight's meeting starts at 6 at Wright Brothers PreK-8.

Tanger Outlet Center in Jeffersonville is hosting a job fair from 5 to 8 p.m. at the food court.

Leaf collection begins today in Dayton. Residents must bag their leaves because there will be no curbside sweeping or pickup of loose leaves.

The annual "Howloween Hoopla" gets underway tonight at 6:30 at the Nutter Center at Wright State University.
