DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Wednesday, October 24, 2012.

Residents in Huber Heights will get a chance to voice their concerns about the city's new aquatic center and recreation complex beginning tonight at 6:30 at city hall.

You can attend an election forum to learn about Issue 2 and meet the candidates for Montgomery County Commissioner at Dayton Liederkranz-Turner on E. 5th street. It starts at 6 p.m.

Beavercreek students will rally for votes in support of the school district's operating levy on the November ballot. "The rock the lot" event starts at 6 p.m. at Beavercreek High School.

Parents can learn about concussion treatment and prevention at Dayton Children's Urgent Care in Miamisburg.

Men with pink beards will raise money in the fight against breast cancer at W.O. Wrights Grill and Pub in Fairborn and O'Conners Irish Pub in Springfield.
