DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Monday, October 22, 2012.

Dr. Mark Emmert, president of the NCAA will help kick off the men's and women's basketball seasons at Wright State University.

A manufacturing forum will be held at building 12 at Sinclair Community College at 10 a.m.

Chaminade Julienne High School will host an event to help people learn about the victims of human trafficking.
It starts at 7 p.m.

Montgomery County will host a training session tonight at 6 for volunteers who want to serve as court appointed special guardians for abused and neglected children.

Relay for Life of Kettering will kick off its 17th year of raising money for the American Cancer Society at 6 p.m. at American Legion Post 598.
