DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Monday, November 19, 2012.

Board of elections offices will be busy counting provisional ballots.

The National Association of Realtors releases its report on home sales in October.

The Village of Yellow Springs will swear in a new police chief. Tony Pettiford, formerly Chief of Police at Central State University, will be sworn in at the village council meeting.

The National Hockey League and players' union will meet to continue labor negotiations. The league locked players out in September.

The Evergreen Veterinary Hospital launches its annual pet food drive. Dog and cat food will be accepted now until Christmas Eve at the location on Centerville Business Parkway.
