DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

An Ohio Senate Committee will consider legislation that would virtually ban internet cafes in the state.

Governor John Kasich will light up the state as part of a plan to massively upgrade the speed of the internet system that links Ohio universities and research centers.

The first Bow Wow night at Woodland Lights in Washington Township will run from 6 to 9.

Stebbins High School students will shop for Christmas presents for children in need.

The Ohio Senate will honor the Kenton Ridge Marching Band for its performance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
