DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Dayton Art Institute's Museum Store has partnered with the Dayton Visual Arts Center (DVAC) to offer the work of local artists in the Museum Store.

Beginning April 1, a different DVAC artist will be featured in the store each month.

"This partnership is a wonderful opportunity to not only add to our selection of one-of-kind items, but also help support the work of talented local artists," said Museum Store Manager Diane Haskell.

"I have no doubt," added DVAC's Executive Director Jane A. Black, "that museum patrons will be impressed with the quality of the art being created here in the Greater Dayton Region."

The Museum Store is located in the General Motors Entrance Rotunda at The Dayton Art Institute and is open during regular museum hours. The Museum Store offers a wide variety of items for the art lover, including unique jewelry, artistic greeting cards, picture frames, exhibition catalogues, art books and posters, Art Institute souvenirs, and creative toys and games.

For more information about events and programs at The Dayton Art Institute, visit the museum's website at www.daytonartinstitute.org or call 937-223-5277. Be sure to also visit The Dayton Art Institute on Facebook and Twitter for additional information and exclusive offers.
