COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is extending his latest Ohio campaign swing into the weekend.

Romney's campaign has announced stops Saturday in the southern Ohio cities of Portsmouth and Lebanon. The campaign also said Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan, will campaign in Youngstown on Saturday morning.

Romney and Ryan are scheduled to appear together Friday afternoon at a rally in Lancaster, southeast of Columbus.

The Republican challenger made public appearances in the battleground state on Tuesday and Wednesday. President Barack Obama also campaigned in Ohio on Tuesday.
