Prayers needed in search for Faith

Search for Faith Willison grows cold; help sought

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - Its a mind-boggling mystery for police as they search to find Faith Willison. For comfort, Willison's friends and family will gather to support each other during a difficult time.

"She is loved, she is missed, and we want her to come home to her family," Judy Vann said. Vann said this story is a nightmare that seemingly won't end. "I pray she's alive, I don't know , the sheriff may be able tell more there are so many different conflicting stories we don't know."

Vann and a number of others organized a candlelight vigil at Buckcreek State Park for classmate Faith Willison who disappeared after she crashed her car in Clark County on National Road. The June 28th accident left a lot of questions unanswered in Vann's mind.

"We want answers, we want someone who's out there who may have seen her, who may not have come forward, who may know something that may see this vigil on the news or the newspaper and say I know her and contact the sheriff."

Sheriff Gene Kelly has been on the case since the accident. On Monday, a helicopter searched for Willison but the pilot didn't spot anything out of the ordinary. Kelly said, he's running into dead ends.

"We've done location on the cellphone, we've checked bank records, credit cards and right now we're still working the case everyday and we're following up on any possible citing or lead but we need some help."

The disappearance is eerily reminiscent of runaway mom Tiffany Tehan. She staged her own kidnapping in April 2010, but later turned up in Florida with boyfriend Tre Hutcherson. Kelly said he doesn't know if this is the same case he has on his hands.

"We know that people sometimes want to leave and that they have that right as an adult to do that but she left so suddenly."

Vann says maybe some media coverage will shed light on a dark turn of events.

"We just want her to know that we miss her and everyone misses her."
