DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Police took a juvenile into custody early Thursday morning after they say he and three others spent the night holding up local businesses.

The arrest happened after the car the 17-year old was driving crashed into a construction site on Wyoming Street near Miami Valley Hospital.

Police were still searching for the other three people involved, two males and a female.

Authorities first spotted the four after they robbed a Cousin Vinny's Pizza on Wayne Avenue. Workers called for help after they saw some suspicious people outside.

Shortly afterwards authorities say those people burst through the back door of the restaurant with masks on and guns drawn. They took cash then got in the car to escape. Officers followed them.

Two of the males escaped on foot near Wayne Avenue, while the female was dropped off near the hospital and got away. The final suspect was captured following the crash.

Police think the four also robbed a Sunoco gas station and a Circle K earlier in the night.
