HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - A man was shot in the face outside a gas station early Thursday morning and then driven by car to the hospital.

The man showed up at Good Samaritan Hospital moments after the shooting and was later transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Officials were unsure of his condition.

A clerk says the man was involved in an argument with a group of people outside the Valero Food Mart on Philadelphia Drive. He later saw the shooter and others get in a white van and leave the scene.

Authorities talked with the driver who dropped the victim off at the hospital, but were unsure of his involvement in the shooting.

Deputies examined a hat and a blood trail at the scene as they tried to piece together what happened.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867.
