DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Friends of a shooting victim dropped her off outside Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton late Tuesday night, leading officers to question the location of the shooting.
Lt. Wendy Stiver of Dayton Police told 2 News the victim's friend became involved in a fight with a man, who then fired a gun, hitting the victim in the foot. The group of friends then drove to the hospital.
Officers said they have the name of the suspect and anticipated making an arrest very soon. The victim is expected to recover.
