DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Mother Nature has given the Miami Valley  rain, snow, sleet and shine this winter, and now some experts are warning that this wild weather could have long lasting effects.

Local conservation biologists told 2 News are keeping a close eye on this crop of Lesser Celandine, an invasive plant imported from Asia that is now here in the Dayton area.

Lesser Celandine and Honeysuckle,or more simply put, weeds have experts worried. Because of this warmer weather, gardening experts say the weeds have already started growing and are more resilient to cold temperatures.

Weeds also produce pollen, which could mean an impact on allergies.
