COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio Department of Transportation is replacing its old traffic information website with one where drivers can see real-time updates about road closures and other delays.

The website, ohgo.com , was unveiled Tuesday as a more user-friendly site developed for use on computers and other devices, including mobile phones and tablets. Users can view information about accidents, current highway speeds, road closures and construction areas. Winter road conditions also will be available from November to April each year.

Department Director Jerry Wray says the site could save drivers time and money by helping them pick the best route to travel so they can avoid sitting in traffic.

The site replaces BuckeyeTraffic.org.
