DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Crews had quite a mess to clean up on a few Dayton roads overnight.

Around midnight, emergency crews were called to a crash on I-75 northbound at the Third St. ramp.

Police told us the couple inside the car was arguing and that's what caused the woman driving to lose control.

She ended up hitting a concrete barrier in part of the construction area, then flipped the car, and landed on it's side.

The woman had her seatbelt on, according to officials, so she walked away without any injuries.

The man wasn't quite as lucky. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt and was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

One lane of the highway was closed for a short time while crews towed the car.

Just an hour and a half later, another accident in Dayton, this one on Linden at Smithville.

It happened around 1:30. A car and a pick-up were involved, and the driver of the car ran from the scene of the crash.

The pick-up driver was taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

Officers said they're investigating how the accident happened.
