TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - Jason Zwick, 29 was arrested Tuesday morning. Detectives said he was one of three men wanted in connection to a several weeks long investigation.
Troy police said Zwick's victim was the adopted son of another suspect, Kenneth Brandt, who adopted three boys from Texas.
Brandt, 39, was arrested Friday night after police served a search warrant at his house. Brandt is accused of sexually assaulting his adopted sons and prostituting one of them for sex.
The case unfolded Friday morning when investigators from a Franklin County Internet Crimes Task Force contacted Troy Police after conducting a weeks long investigation through online chats, which led them to Brandt and others.
According to Troy Police Capt. Chris Anderson, Brandt assaulted his three adopted sons and traded one of them for sex to at least two men. The victims are 12, 10 and 9 years old. A fourth child lived in the home, but does not appear to be involved, Anderson said.
Brandt also coaches 7th-9th grade boys in the Troy Junior Basketball league. Anderson said it does not appear any players were victimized.
"Nothing that we have turned over has led us to believe that he has had any kind of conflicts of contact with any kids that was inappropriate," said Capt. Anderson.
Brandt is charged with three counts of felony rape and one count of compelling prostitution.
Dayton police arrested Patrick Rieder, 31, Monday afternoon. Rieder is being held at the Montgomery County jail for felony rape, according to the jail's website.
It is believed that Brandt traded his son to Zwick and Rieder for sex.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
