CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) - Nearly two years after a salt pile contaminated the village's water supply, it appears Camden's water woes have come to an end.
A well field has been completed and is online, said Sean Maloney, former Camden Village manager who has continued working on fixing the water problem.
"It's been online for a while," Maloney said. "We're just trying to make sure everything is working correctly."
A ribbon cutting and tour of the new system has been scheduled for Aug. 11, 2012. 2 News will provide more details once they're made available.
