Some Springboro parents fear diversionary tactics are happening…

WAYNESVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A Beavercreek teen was killed in a two vehicle accident in Warren County around 9:00 Thursday night.
Alexis Smith, 17, died when the car she was riding in was hit by an SUV.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol investigators, Chelsea Miller, 17, of Dayton, was driving northbound on S. Main St. in Waynesville and attempting to cross SR 73 when her Pontiac Grand AM was struck by a Chevrolet Blazer driven by 20-year-old Kaleb Shannon of Waynesville. Shannon was traveling westbound on SR 73 when he struck Miller's car and pushed it into a guardrail.
Smith was killed in the crash.
Miller was taken to Kettering Medical Center with serious injuries.
Two other passengers in Miller's car, Ricky Kemp, 19, of Franklin, and Ricky Dixon, 18, of Springboro, were taken to Miami Valley Hospital, both in critical condition.
Troopers said Kemp was ejected through the rear window of the Pontiac. Dixon was trapped in the rear of the car.
Shannon was not injured in the crash.
Smith attended Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene for more than 15 years.
"She was one of the best people I have ever met," youth minister John Odom said.
Smith spent the summer of 2010 in Africa helping out at an orphanage.
"She was a really caring person,:" Odom said.
The cause of the traffic crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
