MASON, Ohio (WDTN) - Hundreds of mourners gathered for the funeral of Sgt. Brian Dulle at Christ's Church at Mason on Saturday.

Tears flowed during the service.

Dulle was killed early Tuesday morning.

He was hit by a fleeing driver as he tried to throw stop sticks down.

Dulle was a long time employee with the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

He leaves behind a wife and three young children.

"His law enforcement family and his family are all hurting," Warren County Sheriff Larry Sims said.

Sims spoke during the funeral and said Sgt. Dulle was an excellent leader and will be missed.
