DAYTON, Ohio (DAYTON BUSINESS JOURNAL) - Dayton Business Journal: For-profit education giant The University of Phoenix will be closing 115 locations around the U.S., including 25 campuses and laying off about 800 people, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
A list of the campus closings was not immediately available.
The announcement was made as parent company Apollo Group reported its net income dropped 60 percent in the fourth quarter on revenue that dropped 11 percent due to enrollment decreases.
