PIQUA, Ohio (Piqua Daily Call) - Firefighters from Fletcher, Casstown and Piqua were kept busy on Sunday evening with a pair of fire calls.
Units from Fletcher and Casstown responded to a reported structure fire at 8428 E. U.S. Rt. 36 around 7:30 p.m. They arrived on the scene of the blaze, between the villages of Conover and Lena, to find a working fire in the walls of a two-story frame home.
About one-half hour later, Piqua and Fletcher fire departments were dispatched to a reported chimney fire at 2182 E. U.S. Route 36, between Piqua and Fletcher. Piqua responded with an engine and units from both Fletcher and Casstown provided mutual aide.
That fire was quickly extinguished with little damage. No injuries were reported from either scene.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
