DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Today Show hidden camera investigation examining loopholes in federal gun laws was previewed on 2 News Today Thursday.

Today Show national investigative correspondent Jeff Rossen talked about the startling loopholes he found that allow the sale of deadly assault weapons over the Internet, with no background checks, and no questions asked.

2 News Today looked into Ohio gun laws reported by the Legal Community Against Violence. According to the organization, Ohio does not require a background check prior to the transfer of a firearm between private parities. Ohio does not limit the number of firearms that may be purchased at one time. The state also does not impose a waiting period on firearm purchases.
