DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) - A Miami County business is one of seven to receive recognition this month from the state.

Harmony Farm Inc., a wellness and education center in Tipp City, is being featured as part of Secretary of State Jon Husted’s Ohio Business Profile series. The program, which launched last year, each month highlights businesses from around the state.

“Ohio is fortunate to have a number of great companies located in our state,” Husted said. “One new year’s resolution I encourage all Ohioans to make and stick to is supporting Ohio based businesses.”

Harmony Farm is a 120-acre site with two facilities for healing arts, retreats and educational workshops.

According to Cheri Dinsmore, president of Harmony Farm, “Harmony Farm is a place of “Being,” a place to step outside the “doing” of life and connect to your own inner wisdom, connect to the Divine within.”

The company has 11 employees and was founded in the 1980s by Dinsmore’s parents, Barbara and Bill Brewer.

Other businesses featured this month by the state are: Organized Living, a supplier of custom organizational products in Cincinnati; Green B.E.A.N. Delivery, a home delivery of organic produce and natural groceries service in Cincinnati; Raisin Rack Natural Food Market, a specialty grocer in Westerville; TS24, a travel planning service in New Albany; Mukha Custom Cosmetics, a cosmetics company in Columbus; and Rogue Fitness, a supplier of workout equipment in Columbus.
